Floris Fluitsma, Co-Founder & Director

As a young boy, Floris already knew he wanted to become a ‘holiday maker’. Born and raised in the Netherlands, he was found travelling the globe at the age of only 17 (which was back in 1985). He spent most of his career in travel & hospitality, with companies like KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Sawadee Reizen, the leader in the Dutch adventure travel segment, before settling Down Under.

Floris first travelled to Australia on an exchange program when studying for his MBA with the University of Bradford and got captivated by this remote continent-island. Its isolation, both geological and socially, has imparted to Australia much of its wonder and charm. Feeling at ease with the qualities that best describe the modern Australian personality - outgoing, fun, engaging, smart, enthusiastic and self-reliant – Floris now proudly calls his beloved country home.

What makes him tick? Well, differentiating and growing the inbound business is Floris’ absolute passion, as is ice cream, he’s always in to try and do new things and he loves venturing out into Australia’s great outdoors.
